The alphabet
http://www.edu4kids.com/alpha/
This site contains
some very useful matching activities which are good for practising
the English alphabet. The games themselves are easy to follow but
the instructions appear to be quite complicated. Explanation in L1
would easily remedy this.
Numbers
http://www.learningplanet.com/sam/cyc/cyc.htm
Students can practice
counting here, with the added benefit of hearing the numbers when
they answer the questions correctly. There are fun, animated
pictures which will hold the students interest and there is
also interactive
help if required.
Colours
http://www.literacycenter.net/lessonview_en.htm#
On this site,
students can practise spelling the names of the colours. The words
are then spoken, so students receive name recognition in addition
to pronunciation practice.

colouring activity which can be downloaded, printed and used in

lesson on zoo animals. (There are also lots of other wordsearches
on this site.)
